Position - Technical Product Manager

At Bit we build ahead-of-the-curve technologies for developers. We change and improve the way modern software is built by first building components and then using them to compose component-driven applications and systems.

We are looking for a talented Technical PM to manage a variety of products on our website. This position is extremely multifaceted, requiring daily work with many types of technical and non-technical stakeholders; understanding business needs; in-depth knowledge of market trends in our field as well as the state of the art in UI/UX; and a mover-and-shaker approach that ensures timely deliveries of high-standard products.

Position Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to create and maintain new products and features.
  • Regularly gather internal and customer feedback and translate it into requirement documents that describe business cases, use cases, and technical requirements.
  • Work with scope leads and development teams in the organization to ensure requirements are fully understood and implemented, and help define realistic roadmaps.
  • Work with designers to deliver top-notch prototypes.
  • Work with the documentation team to ensure proper product documentation.
  • Research competitive landscape and industry trends, also seeking opportunities for differentiation.
  • Define and monitor KPIs for product testing, usage, and acceptance.

Tech & professional skills

  • Strong UI/UX background and experience
  • Experience overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle across diverse products
  • Experience writing and communicating product specs and roadmaps
  • Experience with wireframing/prototyping tools

Ideal candidates

  • Minimum 5 years proven experience in product creation
  • Experience with monitoring tools
